Works 2018-2020
I moved to Baltimore in 2017. Moving to a city where I knew nothing and no one posed a new challenge. After finishing the collaborative miniature project with Jess Barnes, I started to explore more crafts, paints, textures, and different handiwork's. In this time I have worked a lot with museums and institutions in the city, learning and growing as an artist and educator. I worked closely with children in after school programs and summer camps during this time, teaching them the different crafts and ways of making.
During the COVID-19 pandemic I have been teaching myself many new skills, including crochet, pottery, beadwork, and quilting. I am excited to see where my work will grow going forward.
